Why Real Calibrations
Robert Sevior – Director
Real Calibrations is led by Robert Sevior, a senior electrical professional with over 40 years’ experience in the High Voltage and Industrial Low Voltage electrical industry. Robert has been a working Director of a successful High Voltage electrical contracting business and has been directly involved in major infrastructure, utility, and renewable energy projects.
With his extensive hands on experience using and interpreting High Voltage test equipment supporting factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), and commissioning activities. His technical expertise includes partial discharge testing, earthing and earth grid testing, and protection testing, underpinned by practical field experience with the equipment being calibrated, along with the development of detailed inspection and technical reports.
Robert is an active volunteer member of the CIGRE Australia B1 Panel – Insulated Cables, contributing to industry knowledge sharing and best practice. He also brings strong capability in safety, quality, environmental systems, and business safety management, and is passionate about mentoring and developing others within the industry.
